Joined
in Jesus is here to promote biblically based courtship
and to foster increased fellowship and cooperation
between Christians from around the world, in a
community atmosphere. Our focus is on promoting
family values because we believe that strong family
values are the cornerstone of strong societies.
By building strong families, we can raise more
educated children who adhere to higher moral standards.
By doing this we foster an increase in the overall
acceptance and practice of these values in society
at large. Thus, we provide the underpinnings of
a stronger society and prepare more people for
entrance to Christ's kingdom when he returns in
glory. To this end, we are here to facilitate
prophecy through continued efforts to evangelize
God's word and help bring about the greatest revival
the world has ever known.
Joined in Jesus is not a traditional 'dating'
service. In fact, we're far from it. We planted
our roots in the ideals of days long past when
the word 'courtship' really meant something and
the concept of 'dating' just simply didn't exist.
Joined In Jesus allows you to develop new friendships,
fellowship partners and locate courtship candidates
for long-term, committed marriages anchored in
the teachings of Jesus Christ.
What's the difference between courtship and
dating?
"The principles of dating are man-centered
and culturally determined; courtship principles
are God-centered and biblically based."1
It's a completely different concept that is as
powerful as God's word. Nothing can offer you
a better chance at a "match made in heaven"
than biblically based courtship. Only Joined In
Jesus offers it and stays true to the calling.

intimate relationship--physical, emotional,

In biblically based courtship, a couple eventually
satisfies that urge through a process that
results in a lifetime commitment. In dating,
however, a couple's immediate goal is not
typically to work toward a selfless, lifelong
relationship, but to satisfy a short-term
physical or emotional need. The result is
an endless series of temptations that often
results in guilt, disappointment, frustration,

Scientific
Matchmaking? What does science have to do with
finding love?
Not
much, but several sites seem to think that quality
matchmaking relies upon the 'science' involved
in personality trait analysis. We won't deny that
such an analysis may provide some insight into
your own or others' personalities. It may even
provide a decent guide in helping determine those
traits to look for in a lifelong relationship
partner. However, when we rely on manmade technology,
instead of the rock-solid foundation of Jesus
Christ in our relationship search, we are setting
ourselves up for failure. In addition, services
that don't emphasize the importance of God, and
his will, in your relationship search are doing
a great disservice by not providing the crucial
foundation of God's word. Finally, use of the
term 'dating' suggests having lost touch with
God's plan for his people in favor of that human
centered fallacy: the desire for quick-fix, scientific
(i.e. Human) solutions.

The answer to your relationship search is found
in biblical courtship.
There are many Internet sites out there that offer
the answers to your prayers. If you look closely
though, you'll find that they usually sellout
their 'mission' on their front page. Anyone with
a discerning eye, and Christian mindset, can tell
whether a site is living up to its commitment
to biblical principles and Christian living. These
sites are clearly not based on the unerring word
of God as revealed in the Holy Bible. Many sites
simply fall short of their goal by not adhering
to biblical principles. Joined In Jesus was founded
on the rock of Biblical principles and the idea
that God can work miracles for those who seek
him as a guide in their relationship search.
